How to Make a Bootable SafeSquid USB device Using Rufus

Prerequisites

  1. Download safesquid.iso  file
  2. Download Rufus.

How to Create a bootable USB drive.

Open Rufus by double clicking on the downloaded executable file.
Rufus selects USB device automatically.
If you have multiple USB device you can use the dropdown menu in “Device” to select required USB device.
Click on “SELECT” from the Boot section to select the .iso file.
Do not make changes to any other options.
Click on START to flash the USB disk.
Click “OK” to write in ISO mode.
 
(Note: your data is about to wipe)
Click “OK” to continue

Once the flashing is complete click on “CLOSE” and eject your device.
