Overview
vmware ESXi is an enterprise-class, type-1 hypervisor developed by vmware for deploying and serving virtual computers.
As a type-1 hypervisor, ESXi is not a software application that is installed on an operating system; instead, it includes and integrates vital OS components.

Prerequisites

vmware ESXI server and access to vmware ESXI web interface.

Minimum Requirements.
Installing SafeSquid Server in vmware ESXI.
Open web interface for vmware ESXI.
To upload the safesquid.iso, right click on storage.
Click on “Browser datastores”.
Select or create a new folder for uploading safesquid.iso.
Click on “Upload” and select safesquid.iso file.
Browse to the location where safesquid.iso has been downloaded.
Once the file is uploaded, close the datastore browser.
To create a new VM, click on Host.
Click on “Create/Register” VM for creating a new Virtual Machine.
Click “Next”
Name your server SafeSquid, select the Guest OS family as Linux and Guest OS version as Ubuntu Linux (64-bit).
Select Storage device and click “Next”
Configure Virtual hardware.
To modify CD/DVD click on Client Device
Select Datastore ISO File
Select safesquid.iso from uploaded directory and click on select.
Click “Next”
Review settings and click “Finish”
Click on Virtual Machines and select your newly created VM.
Click “Power on” to start your VM.
Click on the preview to open web console to continue safesquid installation process.
